Methodology — how Enterno.io scoring works
TL;DR.
Every score on Enterno.io has an open, versioned formula — no hidden weights, no proprietary "magic". Pick a topic below to see exactly how points are distributed and which standards (Mozilla Observatory, OWASP, NIST) we anchor against.
Available methodologies
- Health Score — 0–100 site health, 4 categories
- Security Grade — A–F web-security posture, 5 categories
- AI-Readiness Score — A–F readiness for AI agents (20 signals)
- SSL/TLS Grade — A–F certificate posture, 6 categories
All four scoring systems we ship now have a published, versioned methodology. Future grading systems get the same treatment — published before the score badge appears in any UI.
Why open methodology?
Closed-formula scores are convenient for marketing but hostile to engineering — you can't fix what you can't inspect. SSL Labs (since 2009) and Mozilla Observatory (since 2015) built industry-defining grading by publishing every weight, every threshold, every test case. We follow the same pattern.
