Industry-defining grading is built on public weights
Principle
You can't fix what you can't inspect
Closed-formula scores are convenient for marketing but hostile to engineering — you can't fix what you can't inspect. SSL Labs (since 2009) and Mozilla Observatory (since 2015) built industry-defining grading on published scoring rules. For each formula here we publish its weights, thresholds and checked items, and tests hold those numbers to the code that computes the score.
