TCP/28910 — the GameSpy master-server port used by Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (DS, DSi, Wii, 3DS) for matchmaking. GameSpy official shutdown — 2014; Nintendo WFC — 20 May 2014. Community replacements: Wiimmfi (Mario Kart Wii), AltWfc. If you see 28910 in firewall/router logs, it's legacy gaming traffic, not a modern service.
Below: details, example, related, FAQ.
# Check reachability (Wiimmfi test)
$ nc -zv wiimmfi.de 28910
Connection to wiimmfi.de (...) 28910 port [tcp/*] succeeded!
# A router ACL can allow/block the whole 28900-28920 range
# for legacy DS / Wii consolesPing sends ICMP packets to a host and measures response time. Port scanning checks which TCP ports are open and accepting connections — helping diagnose serviceavailability issues.
Choose packet count (3, 4, 6, 10). Stats: min/avg/max latency and packet loss.
