A check is one run of a monitor from one location. The Free edition includes 500 checks a month, Standard 10,000, Pro 1 million and Enterprise 10 million. Simple ping monitors do not count toward these limits. Extra checks are $0.005 each at list price.
Example: one simple browser monitor every minute from 3 locations runs about 129,600 checks a month. On Standard, that is 119,600 checks over the included 10,000, or roughly $598 a month at list price, before user seats.
